Hi, I’m Chris Madonia. I’m a home inspector, for the “Nice Guy” group for the last 10 years. Doesn’t matter who, be they buyers or sellers, I’m the guy they call to make those pesky mechanical issues that arise during real estate transactions go away.

I married my wife Becky in 2010. Becky is a nurse manager at Lee’s Summit Medical center. I have 2 children: a daughter Melanie, who works for KCPD as a detective; and a son Anthony, who is a Marine in California working with the wounded warrior program. OOH RAH! I also have 2 granddaughters, Makayla, and Charlise who keep me young.

My passions include reading, writing, and sharp pointy things. My favorite author is, well, me. I have written 2 novels, one of which is in print titled “Thunder Rider’s Burden”, a second titled “Thunder Rider’s Ascension”, and am near finished with the final chapter in the trilogy, “Thunder Rider’s Folly.” Check them out on my website,

www.ThunderRidersBurden.com! Some of my poetry has been published and a very special piece of mine called “Bub” was recently read on the Dr. Laura radio program. I also have a vast collection of knives and swords. I’ve even begun making my own knives, though the neighbors seem to be less than amused by the smell of the coal in the forge and the ringing of steel and hammer on anvil.

Being part of the “Nice Guy” team has introduced me to a multitude of wonderful people, and I’m proud to say that most of my clients become friends. My greatest boast is the trust that clients extend to me to take care of things for them, something I would never jeopardize. I love it when someone calls and says, “You did work for us years ago, and we need you again.” “A good name is more desirable than great riches, to be esteemed better than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1
