Hi, I’m Robin Beck, the “Nice Guys” Transaction Coordinator.  I’ve worked for John and Sandy for 12 years and have loved every moment of it.  I’m the one who coordinates the host of third parties involved in each transaction.

On a personal note, I’ve been married for 22 years to my wonderful husband, Rob.  We have an awesome son, Robbie, who is 16 years old.  Our other 2 “kids” are Sophie, a German Shepherd mix, and Duncan, a Black and Tan Coonhound.

My interests include reading and watching movies.  I love to read history and, when my son was younger, I loved reading children’s books with him and do miss it a little today.  My favorite author is David McCullough and my favorite book by him is John Adams, although everything I‘ve read that he has written has been outstanding.  There are so many great children’s books it’s hard to choose one, but I am a huge Harry Potter fan; plus Christopher Paolini’s Eragon series was great reading and I am anxiously awaiting the fourth and final book!  My favorite movies are The Wizard of Oz and Schindler’s List, or give me a great thriller such as Misery, Cape Fear or Heat and I’m a happy movie watcher!

Rob is an avid homebrewer and, together, we belong to the Kansas City Bier Meisters, a local homebrew club.  I’m an active participant in the club volunteering on many of the committees. In the past, I served as the Chairperson for the club’s annual homebrew competition 4 years in a row.

Robbie is a Boy Scout, currently a Life Scout working on earning his Eagle badge.  He also loves playing tennis and plays on Northtown’s tennis team.

There is nothing more important to me than my family.  It may sound quaint, but my greatest achievement in life is being a wife of 22 years and a mother of an amazing child!  I’m extremely proud and grateful to be a part of the “Nice Guys” team as it’s always been a great source of pride for me to work with John and Sandy and all of their accomplished associates!
